Quance joins the agency having recently graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University.

She completed a student placement at the agency from 2007 and 2008 and has since worked with Powwow on a freelance basis on other events.

Powwow also employed Rosie Fearon, another Leeds graduate, earlier this year. Fearon was the student placement for 2006 and 2007.

Powwow director Amanda Edgcumbe, who was a judge for the 2010 MPI Young Achievers Award earlier this month, said: "I think it's important that the industry supports event management degree students during their studies and harness their energy and enthusiasm when they graduate."
