The five-star property is situated on the bank of the river Danube in a mixed-use complex.

It offers 231 rooms and suites across eight floors that have views of the river and the city skyline.

The hotel offers 11 event spaces including the Maria Theresia Ballroom, which has capacity for 300 delegates.

Leisure facilities at Kempinski Hotel River Park Bratislava include the 1,500sqm rooftop Zion Spa and Fitness Center, and four restaurants and bars including the Churchill Cigar Club and the Arte Restaurant.

General manager Konstatin Zeuke said the hotel would boost the appeal of emerging destination Bratislava. "This new hotel will add to what the city has to offer as well as enhance Kempinski's portfolio, and increase our stronghold in Eastern Europe," said Zeuke.
