The partnership will allow the show, which launches at the Sands Expo Las Vegas on 11 October 2011, to roll out a series of pre-show marketing campaigns to a database of meetings organisers across the US.
DMAI president chief executive Michael Gehrisch said, "We anticipate that Imex America will continue to provide the same level of valuable global business opportunities our DMO members have come to expect when exhibiting at Imex in Frankfurt. It will also assist our members in expanding their global reach through direct access to a new customer base. This move also continues our mutual focus on education."
Imex group chairman Ray Bloom said: "Imex America is going to be unlike any other trade show ever before seen in the US. For that reason we have to communicate the show's unique selling points and exceptional value forcefully and consistently to the US market."
