Former AstraZeneca conference manager joins Media 1

2 comment s on this article.Media 1 has recruited former AstraZeneca conference and exhibition project manager Maggie Hughes to head up its new delegate-management division.
Media 1's new division provides delegate management services to corporates and it is targeting the pharmaceutical sector.
Hughes has 26 years of experience in the congress and meetings sector.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for me to put my experience and knowledge into practice and deliver tailored solutions to clients," she said. "2010 and 2011 will be critical years for event organisers as they strive to make their companies' event budgets go further, and this is a challenge they will have to meet without compromising on the delegate experience, the success of the event or its results."
