Pharmameetings set to launch on 10 October
Venue finding specialist Trinity Conferences is set to launch a pharma-specific offshoot next month, Pharmameetings.
The new business is scheduled to launch on 10 October. The move follows consultation between Trinity and five of its pharmaceutical partners earlier this year and has been overseen by project manager Rebecca Whiteside, former head of promotional services at Roche Products. While no new staff have been brought in for the venture, Trinity managing director Jacquie Kavanagh said all 16 Trinity staff had been "rigorously trained" to handle pharma enquiries.
The venture is being backed by a website, pharmameetings.co.uk. Marketing plans for the new set-up include a media campaign to pharmaceutical trade press and a series of forums for corporate event planners and medical communications agencies. The first of these is scheduled to take place at the end of next month.
