Grass Roots expands European team

Grass Roots global development director Debbie Donaldson will extend her role to oversee the meetings, events and communications offering in France and Switzerland.

In this extended role Donaldson has appointed Thomas Vögeli as group operations manager in the Zurich office in Switzerland and Aurélie Lebreton as healthcare account manager in Paris, France.

Vögeli is joining the agency this month from bio-medical firm Zimmer, where he was associate manager events, based in Switzerland.  Vögeli will be responsible for delivering key healthcare client operations including account management and supporting the Grass Roots healthcare strategy.

Lebreton joins at the end of July and her role will be to retain and grow business within existing client accounts and work with the operations teams.

Donaldson said: "Both new hires are as a result of on-going business investment and growth. Aurélie’s experience stretches across the full product lifecycle in healthcare events including the organisation of congresses and seminars within France and at an international level. Thomas has a rounded experience in both the corporate healthcare and large events agency world.  We look forward to each of them bringing valuable additional strength to our existing French and Swiss client management and operations functions."
