The mobile operator sponsors IEC World Broadband Forum Europe
FRANCE - Paris has been confirmed as the host city for the 2009 IEC World Broadband Forum Europe, the annual event for the broadband industry that recently concluded in Brussels.
France Telecom-Orange, the mobile phone provider, is the host sponsor of the International Engineering Consortium (IEC)-organised event, which will be held from 7-9 September 2009 at the newly refurbished CNIT La Defense building.
"We're pleased to welcome the entire global broadband industry to the venue," said IEC president John Janowiak.
Jean-Phillipe Vanot, Orange's vice-president of group networks and information systems, will chair the event, which expects around 400 industry heads for a three-day series of seminars and presentations.
