Package cuts costs and speeds bookings, agency claims

Agency Zibrant has launched an online venue service, which it claims offers a unique, real time booking service for event planners.

The Live Space application, created with software developers ASL, allows users to reduce the cost and time it takes to make bookings and venues to increase conversion rates by up to 30%, according to Zibrant. The system works through an application that sits on a venue's PMS system and feeds back real time availability. Available space can be seen on-screen and then optioned through Zibrant.

An initial trial has been so successful the agency has seen its initial target of 50 venues at launch already surpassed, with around 120 properties now on the system.

Exclusive Hotels was one of the trial group and head of business development Jane Barty said: "Since joining the programme we have been delighted with the results. We have seen a 20% increase in revenue and an excellent enquiry conversion rate."
