Meeting Professionals International (MPI) will hold the 2011 World Education Congress (WEC) in Florida.
Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando, the second largest conference space in the US, will host MPI’s event on 23-26 July.
MPI president Bruce MacMillan said: "We are thrilled to bring WEC 2011 to a city like Orlando with such a rich history in corporate social responsibility."
MPI chose the OCCC partly due to the venue’s corporate social responsibility bid element.
The venue uses solar energy and runs a climate change education centre, as well donating products from conferences to local charities.
OCCC deputy general manager Kathie Canning said: "We are rolling out the green carpet for WEC attendees. Orlando has enjoyed a long-lasting and successful relationship with MPI and it was an easy decision to present our CSR initiatives for meeting planners at WEC."
