Sportsworld has launched its corporate hospitality packages for Wimbledon 2011 following a 15% boost in revenue from the event this year.
"Our revenue was 15% higher this year than it was last year, and we were completely sold out on every day, with some days selling out months before the event started," said Sportsworld Wimbledon account manager Steve Callaghan.
Prices for 2011 packages start from £395 per person for the No. 1 Court Experience offering excellent seats for the tennis and relaxed informal dining in Sportsworld’s Champions Lounge within the exclusive Fairway Village.
The package includes official reserved tickets for No. 1 Court (also granting access to Courts 3-19), morning coffee, three-course buffet lunch, complimentary bar, traditional afternoon tea with strawberries and cream and car park pass.
Sportsworld looked after around 3,000 guests over the 2010 Wimbledon fortnight. "The average table size is six, but we can provide private tables for any number between two and 14 in our Village Suite, and the largest group we catered for this year was 140 in our private chalet," said Callaghan.
