Guoman and Thistle Hotels appoint sales heads

Guoman and Thistle Hotels have appointed two sales heads to grow business within its international portfolio.
James Enright has been appointed vice president of US sales, and is based in Washington DC. His experience includes positions with DMC PRA and Forte Hotels.
Enright’s remit will include securing major corporate business for the UK.
Monika Krauthahn also joins as director of sales for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Krauthahn is based in Dusseldorf, and her remit will include identifying sales opportunities for the group.
Guoman & Thistle Hotels director of sales (London and international) Edward Pinchard said: "We are delighted to be welcoming both James and Monika to our group – their proven expertise, successes in their markets and industry knowledge will undoubtedly prove a true asset to our continued international sales development."
Guoman Hotels announced plans to spend over £18m on refurbishing The Grosvenor hotel earlier this month.
