Government accolade for Glasgows

The Home Office has given agency Glasgows a partnership award in recognition of its event management services. Preston-based Glasgows received the award for managing the Network AGM, which is an annual meeting of the Home Office’s black minority ethnic staff. Glasgows is on the Home Office’s preferred supplier roster and has won competitive tenders to organise the event for the past four years. It received the partnership award at the Network 8th AGM, which attracted more than 400 delegates and was held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, in London, this month. The Home Office gave Glasgows a citation that stated: “Over the past three years we have seen first hand the commitment and professionalism of all the Glasgows team – from design to successful delivery of the Network AGMs. This has not only benefited our members but helped us with effective management of our resources.” Glasgows chairman Ron Glasgow said: “Our company ethos is built on partnership and a strong agency-client team approach. To have our work so publicly recognised is praise indeed.”
