Visit London's Webb appointed to Olympics post

Visit London project director Karen Webb is among the first people to be recruited to a post on the Olympic Park Legacy Company's executive management team.
Webb's remit at Visit London included leading the initial work on a major event strategy for the Olympic Park.
As the Olympic Park Legacy Company's director of marketing and communications, Webb will be responsible for the positioning and promotion of the park for business events among other uses.
Olympic Park Legacy Company chief executive Andrew Altman said: "Karen has had an impressive and exciting career and her broad experience of working with world-leading brands and events is a significant boost to our organisation and for the extensive opportunities ahead for Olympic Park."
Webb takes up the new post in February.
