Procter & Gamble's Wella International Trend Vision Awards Final has been singled out for an international accolade.

The Wella event earned Jack Morton Worldwide top prize in the Commercial Promotion Category of the International Visual Communications Association (IVCA) Livecom Awards.

The same event recently scooped the silver prize for Most Immersive Event at the Brand Experience Awards 2009.

Both awards were for the 2008 staging of the Wella event, although Jack Morton was reappointed to stage the 2009 event in Berlin last month. It included a demonstration of key hair trends, a competition for 81 stylists from 53 countries and on-stage workshops.

Jack Morton also won a second gold at the IVCA Livecom Awards, this time in the UK Campaign category, for ‘Start Thinking Soldier', a multi-faceted recruitment campaign for the Army.

It brought Jack Morton's total haul of awards in 2009 to 25, including a Marketing Design Award for Ericsson's presence at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Jack Morton managing director Julian Pullan said: "Awards are incredibly important in recognising exceptional work and rewarding agencies for pushing boundaries in the industry."
