Zinc Management has recruited Kelvin Golding as business development manager.
Golding, who previously held marketing roles with Smithkline Beecham, Grey Archer and Warl I-Sight, will focus on new client opportunities.
He said: "I've been involved in live communications throughout my career and have always found it the most fun and exciting side of the business. It also delivers better return-on-investment than any other form of communication."
Zinc fulfilled its biggest ever logistical brief this summer when it assisted with the travel arrangements and activities of 26 international client groups visiting the UK for the Mini 50th anniversary celebrations.
Zinc event director Heike Kettner said that after a period of restructuring the agency was now better equipped to serve clients and a number of business enquiries for 2010 were being negotiated.
