The agency is in talks with Swedish financial and electronics clients
Line Up is targeting new business in Sweden on the back of its success with Gothenburg-based client Volvo.
The agency established a one-person office in Gothenburg in 2006.
Line Up director Rob Leach said the agency was now targeting new business in the Swedish financial, electronics and pharmaceutical sectors.
"We are talking with two key clients in the financial and electronics sectors," said Leach. "We have got to know Swedish culture well and have gained a good reputation for the work we've done with Volvo, so Swedish clients understand that we use local suppliers and support the local economy."
The weakness of the pound would also make Line Up an attractive option compared to Sweden-based agencies, which Leach said were its main competition.
Line Up has no immediate plans to recruit more full-time staff for its Gothenburg office, but Leach said it would hire local event planners on contract according to demand.
