Venuefinder Inntel "restructuring senior team to meet market challenges"
Venuefinder Inntel has made 13 of its 100 staff redundant.
A statement from the company described the move as "restructuring the senior team to meet new market challenges".
When C&IT contacted the company, it was unwilling to confirm which individuals were being cut from which positions or what form the restructure would take.
A spokeswoman for Inntel said: "The positions are being lost from across the business. In terms of the restructure, a plan is in place and there will be more information shortly."
As to why the redundancies had been made, the spokeswoman said there had been a decline in bookings: "Inntel has seen a slight fall in bookings in line with other companies in the sector, but it is also taking a bullish approach to streamline the business."
However, the family-owned business is determined to stay independent despite having "been approached by many organisations who are interested in growing through merger and acquisition rather than organically" in recent months, according to the statement.
