Christopher Newbery rejoins the property
The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts has appointed Christopher Newbery as general manager of The Leela Kempinski Mumbai.
Newbery was previously general manager and head of operations of Serena Hotel, Kabul.
It is his second stint as general manager of The Leela Kempinski Mumbai - he previously held the post from 1995 to 1997.
He has also worked for Intercontinental, and Hilton.
