Confex signs up international debutantes

Tourism Australia, Caymans and Orlando among the new names

London's International Confex has confirmed a number of new overseas exhibitors debuting at next year's show.

First time international exhibitors include:

Tourism Australia

Cayman Islands

Orlando Convention Bureau

Malaysia National Tourist Board.

"There is still a lot of positive news from the global events market indicating that while the economic downturn has had an effect, there is still a positive outlook," said event director Duncan Reid.

The three-day show takes place at Earl's Court from 24-26 February 2009.

New features include the ‘Taste the World' bar and ‘Around the World in 80 Seconds' - a speed-dating style set-up for buyers and suppliers.
