Park Plaza County Hall is launching a new 'green' meeting system designed for CSR-conscious planners.
The hotel will trial the Meetingpod system in one of its boardrooms next month.
It comprises electronic devices that give delegates information on a screen, eliminating the need for paper and projectors.
Park Plaza County Hall general manager Philip Chambers said: “The Meetingpod lowers the carbon emissions compared to a paper-based meeting by around 85%.”
