Jumeirah Glasgow Hotel to open in 2011
Luxury hotel group Jumeirah has unveiled plans to build a "five-star super deluxe" property in Glasgow.
The 25-storey hotel will be situated beside the Radisson SAS, located in the international financial services district, and is scheduled to open in 2011.
Jumeirah Glasgow Hotel will offer 160 rooms and suites, and 85 Jumeirah Living serviced apartments designed for long-stay guests.
A 630-seat ballroom will be among the conference and business space available at the hotel.
Its leisure facilities will include an infinity pool, Talise Wellness spa, gym, rooftop cocktail lounge, and several restaurants and bars.
Jumeirah claims the property will be "one of the UK's most luxurious hotels".
