1,003-room Hyatt opens in Texas

The 1,003-room luxury Grand Hyatt San Antonio hotel has opened in Texas. Offering 10,684sqm of indoor and outdoor meeting space, with capacity for up to 3,600 people, the new-build, five-star property is situated beside the Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center. Among the hotel’s meeting spaces are a 2,973sqm ballroom and 29 break-out spaces. It also offers guests a business centre, express check-in and check-out kiosks and a facility that enables travellers to print airline boarding passes. Among the hotel’s dining options is the 350-seat Achiote River Café, which has views of the San Antonio River Walk. Meanwhile, Bar Rojo is being billed as the new place to be seen in San Antonio. Grand Hyatt San Antonio is the third Hyatt hotel in San Antonio and the 12th in Texas, and it is decorated with paintings and sculptures created by San Antonio artists.
