The Roof Gardens appoints general manager

The Roof Gardens in Kensington, part of Virgin's Limited Edition's portfolio, has named Samantha Wilson as general manager.
Wilson was previously deputy general manager at the venue. She is now responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of The Roof Gardens’ night club, events space, Babylon restaurant and the 1.5 acres of gardens.
Prior to the Roof Gardens, Wilson worked in roles including event management at the Grosvenor House Hotel and operations manager at Tate Britain and the Sanderson Hotel.
Jon Brown, managing director at Virgin Limited Edition said: "Sam’s knowledge of The Roof Gardens and of the industry as a whole is extensive and her commitment to us over the past two and a half years has shone through. We are looking forward to seeing her energy and creativity reflected in the future of The Roof Gardens."
