Each review includes key information about the venue, such as event space capacities and hotel facilities, and the prices of key items.

 


Danesfield House, Marlow: hotel review

Danesfield house is a charming, privately owned white-stone mansion built in 1901 and opened as a luxury hotel in 1991.

Le Meridien Taipei: hotel review

Opened in December last year, Le Meridien is in Taipei's central business district and within walking distance of the Taipei International Convention Centre. It is a 40-minute drive from the airport.

 

 

Shangri-La Hotel, Paris: hotel review

Set in the refined 16th arrondissement of Paris, the first property in Europe by Shangri-La is set to make a major impact in the City of Light.

 

The Farmhouse Hotel, Guernsey: hotel review

Located within five minutes of Guernsey airport, the Farmhouse in St Saviours parish is nevertheless a relaxing country bolthole 15 minutes from the fleshpots of St Peter Port.


Corinthia Hotel St George's Bay, Malta: hotel review

 Situated in an area of Malta known for its nightlife and shopping, the hotel is a 20-minute taxi ride from the airport and around 15 minutes from the Mediterranean Conference Centre.

 

Sharrow Bay, Lake District: hotel review

The founding British member of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux, Sharrow Bay is a traditional country house hotel set on the shore of Lake Ullswater in the Lake District.

 

Montpellier Chapter, Cheltenham: hotel review

The Montpellier is the first of the new Chapter brand in the UK, owned by multi-national conglomerate Swire, whose hotels arm includes a number of exclusive urban properties in China.

 

Lime Wood, Hampshire: hotel review


The only five-star property in New Forest National Park, Lime Wood’s forested surroundings and stylish manor house heritage combine to offer a boutique country hotel with a difference.

 


Wentworth Club, Surrey: review

Wentworth’s strong golf reputation makes it ideal for incentives and corporate hospitality events, while its historic event spaces open it up for conferences.

 

Syon Park, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, London: hotel review

This luxurious new build, which opened in February, blends the amenities of an English country estate with city style.  


The Grand Hotel, Eastbourne: hotel review

Ideal for both conference and incentive groups, the restored Elite Hotels property is within easy walking distance of the town centre.

 

Center Parcs Sherwood Forest: review

Center Parcs Sherwood Forest is set in 400 acres of woodland and includes a golf driving range, lake, beach and nature reserve.

 

The Green House: hotel review

 

The Green House opened in April, and claims to be the UK's greenest hotel.


The Goodwood Hotel, Chichester: hotel review

The former Marriott hotel is part of the 12,000-acre Goodwood Estate, which counts Bank of England and Glaxosmithkline among its clients.


Doubletree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro: hotel review

Set within 10 acres of private landscaped grounds, the Victorian style Doubletree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro hotel, set in the village of Dunblane, just 40 minutes from both Glasgow and Edinburgh.

 

Grand Hotel Excelsior, Malta: hotel review

Grand Hotel Excelsior is based at the waterfront of Malta's capital city, Valletta, and recently hosted delegates at the EUR8m annual conference for Swedish cosmetics firm Oriflame.

 

Convention Centre Dublin: venue review

The CCD opened in September with a launch party boasting entertainment from Westlife and forward bookings for 150 events.

 

Turnberry Resort, Scotland: hotel review

Turnberry, a Starwood Luxury Collection Resort on the West coast of Scotland, recently underwent a multi-million-pound renovation programme.


Kempinski Hotel River Park, Bratislava: hotel review

As the first true luxury property to open in Bratislava, this is the hotel in which to stay for an incentive in the Slovak capital. Bob Dylan was among the first guests to check in.

 

Rockliffe Hall, County Durham

Located on an 18th-century estate on the border of County Durham and North Yorkshire. Rockliffe Hall opened in November and is the region's second five-star luxury hotel.

 

Villa & Palazzo Aminta, Italy

Located next to Lake Maggiore, opposite the Borromeo Islands, this privately owned boutique property offers Italian luxury set against a beautiful backdrop, 50 miles from Milan.
