IHG-owned brand will provide accommodation for Olympic organising committee LOCOG

Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express have been named as the official hotel services providers to London 2012 by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG).

The Intercontinental Hotels Group-owned Holiday Inn brand will supply team members to work with LOCOG's accommodation and protocol teams in the lead up to the Games in 2012.

It is currently undergoing a £600m global relaunch and will provide accommodation and meeting rooms for LOCOG and its partners.

London 2012 chairman Lord Coe said: "The global expertise of Holiday Inn in welcoming visitors and meeting customer needs will be vital between now and 2012."
