Jamie Oliver's Jamie at Home Jamboree is set to take place at the Brighton Dome on 17 August.
The second annual event aims to reward 1,200 of the 3,000 self-employed Jamie At Home consultants and managers.
The celebrity chef, who launched a specialist catering company - Jamie Oliver's Fabulous Feasts - for the corporate events market in May, will present the awards on the day.
The company said it did not plan to use an agency to organise the event.
Jamie at Home managing director Kim Claxton said: "We chose to hold our national Jamboree event at Brighton Dome because it’s a beautiful venue with great facilities. Brighton is a vibrant, buzzing city. Its good transport links make it easy for all our Jamie at Home consultants, who live across the UK and Ireland, to get to the event."
Visit Brighton, Convention Bureau sales manager Darren Johnson said: "This is another great win for the city and we’re incredibly excited that Jamie at Home has chosen Brighton as the city of choice to host this event."
