Senior representatives from seven agencies from the UK, including AYMTM, First Event, BI Worldwide, Banks Sadler, Creative Travel & Event Management, Definitive Events and MD Events, are taking part in the programme, which begins with a two-day educational trip to Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, followed by three days in Sydney for the Dreamtime exhibition.
Buyers from Europe, Asia, New Zealand and the US are also attending the event, alongside international media. They will get a chance to meet and network with regional convention bureaus and suppliers from throughout Australia, and discover what Sydney has to offer incentive groups.
The event was initially scheduled to run last year but was postponed until 2009 to enable Tourism Australia to incorporate the new Business Events Australia branding and make some changes to maximise the impact and value of the week-long event for delegates.
