Seventeen Events founder Louise Davies has been named one of the Future Top Young Entrepreneurs of the Year.

The Future 100 Awards are run by social enterprise organisation Striding Out.

It recognises entrepreneurs aged 18-35 who show "entrepreneurial flair and innovation in progressing a responsible business venture".

Seventeen Events, has made a name for itself though promoting sustainable events.

"I hope these awards inspire others to combine an entrepreneurial spirit with a vision for sustainability," said Davies.

"I also hope other agencies will follow Seventeen's lead and consider sustainability an essential part of the planning process."
