DMC Hello Scotland has won the contract to organise incentives for international academic conference Closing the Innovation Gap: Theory and Practice.

The event is being organised by the Business School of University of the West of Scotland and takes place on 6-8 September next year at Glasgow's Radisson SAS hotel.

It is expected to attract 400 delegates - more than 75% of them from overseas.

The DMC contract will see Hello Scotland create an itinerary including Loch Lomond, whisky tastings, city tours and a Burns Country trip.

"It is a great privilege to have been chosen to facilitate such a high-profile event which brings academics and business people together," said Hello Scotland project director Elaine Craig.
