Visit Britain chief exec to leave

Visit Britain chief executive Tom Wright is leaving the organisation to lead a new charity.

Wright’s departure date and successor have yet to be confirmed. He is due to become chief executive of the merged Help the Aged and Age Concern England in 2009.

In September, it was revealed Visit London’s chief executive James Bidwell is also to leave the bureau at the end of the year.
