BSI cuts Fujitsu venue costs by 10%

Agency claims savings after three months as IT giant's sole supplier

Venue finding specialist BSI is claiming to have cut hotel spend by client Fujitsu Services by 10% in just three months.

BSI was appointed by the IT giant as sole provider of accommodation, conferences, training facilities and venue finding services in the UK with a remit of "raising policy compliance, increasing added-value and lowering expenditure", according to BSI.

The agency has created a dedicated Fujitsu team, based at the client's centre of excellence in Cheadle.

Fujitsu Services head of services John Moss Sourcing said: "We were looking for a partner committed to our sourcing strategy of driving down costs whilst maintaining quality and BSI made a perfect fit. BSI has already evolved behavioural change by robustly applying Fujitsu's policy, thereby driving compliance."
