Formerly a C&I representative for Visit Denmark before it closed its UK arm at the end of last year, Lebaek’s new role will include working with national and international associations. In additon to attracting new events to London, she will be managing exisiting client relationships.

James Rees, executive director for ExCeL London, said: "2017 is set to be our busiest ever year for conferences and events, with congress business across all sectors growing exponentially. Moreover, 50% of all the conventions and meetings held at ExCeL London are now booked by international planners."
Speaking about Lebaek’s appointment he added: "It is enormously beneficial for us to welcome Ines as part of our team with her experience of working across international markets, providing us with an even more global perspective when promoting London’s premier venue.
