C&IT is conducting research into one of the top challenges facing the events industry - recruitment and talent - and we want your views. Take part now.

C&IT’s State of the Industry Report 2016 highlighted recruitment as the top challenge for agencies – 28% named it one of their biggest concerns and more than a third (37%) agreed that recruiting/retaining talent is more difficult than in previous years.

Over the last few years, it has shifted from an employers market to an employees market. This is resulting in more competition for the best talent and making it hard for employers to find the right people to fill the growing number of vacancies - something that is predicted to become even harder once the UK leaves the EU.

Our survey will investigate recruitment challenges from both an agency and employee perspective. It will explore what event professionals look for in an employer, and what employers are looking for in the workplace and where the key recruitment challenges lie.

The survey will be in two parts, one to be answered by employees, another to be answered by employers. Responses will be treated anonymously.
