The first event planned for 2 February at American restaurant Smith & Wollensky in Covent Garden, London will be followed by regional events in Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds.

Chetan Shah, micebook founder said: "Risk assessment and crisis management continue to be hot topics for event organisers in 2017. Having a robust plan in place can help you take decisive action should you be faced with an unexpected situation. Delegates will hear from corporate and agency planners as well as industry experts on how they can spot potential risks and implement their own crisis management processes."

Deborah Kelly, head of UK Sales at London & Partners, added: "We’re looking forward to working with micebook on this workshop which is taking place in one of London’s newest venues. The Crisis Management workshop will provide an opportunity for senior buyers to discuss key issues surrounding safety and security in an open and honest forum. We’ll be asking senior buyers about the real issues they face to ensure the workshop content is as up-to-date and relevant as possible."
