The new hotel will be the first luxury resort from Taj to be built on the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, located in the Bay of Bengal in the Indian Ocean.

Situated on Havelock Island and located at the edge of the jungle, the luxury resort hotel will have 75 villas, including an 743sqm presidential villa, in addition to its own private beach.

The new hotels’ design is inspired by the traditional Jarawa huts, with a pitch-roof style, in honour of one of the Andaman tribes that has called the island home for thousands of years.

The Taj Exotica Resort & Spa Andaman Islands will provide guests with a base to explore everything the Andaman and Nicobar Islands have to offer, including snorkelling or trekking through the jungle.
