London, Lisbon and LA are among the destinations nominated on the longlist for the best event destination categories at this year's C&IT Awards. You can cast your vote here.

The awards honour the city, resort or destination that best delivers for events in two categories: Best Short-haul Events Destination (under four hours' flight time from the UK and including all UK domestic cities) and Best Mid- to Long-Haul Events Destination (destinations with a flight time of more than four hours from UK).

This year C&IT partners with Silversea Cruises for the Best Short-haul Destination, which was won by London last year, beating off strong competition from Rotterdam and The Hague and Barcelona, and Qatar Airways for Best Mid- to Long-haul Destinaion, which was picked up by Dubai.

This years winners will again be decided by C&IT readers, with votes cast both online prior to the awards ceremony and on the night. The ceremony takes place on Friday 23 September at London Hilton on Park Lane.

The longlist (below) - nominated by our readers throughout July and August - is now open for voting until 2 September, with a final shortlist to be announced soon after.
