Louise's path into events was a twist of fate. After starting an internship with Jack Morton, she found that she loved the travel and creativity behind the producer role.
Boss says: Jim Donald, director of production: "Louise is an exceptional talent, always delivering through the passion, detail and relentless energy she brings to her role and the teams she works with at Jack Morton."
Best event I've worked on: I moved to Glasgow for six months and helped produce the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games. I felt we were doing something great for the community.
Most challenging moment: We recently delivered a major product launch for an IT client and it was one of the most ambitious events I've ever worked on. We had to operate 5,000 virtual reality headsets with only 36 hours of rehearsal time.
Dream event: To work on another big ceremony that had close ties to the local community.
Alternative career: I'd love to own my own flower shop one day.
Goals before 40: I'd like to travel and become a respected, successful producer.comments powered by Disqus
