In Pictures: Leeds Big Sleepover

Leeds Hotels and Venues Association (LHVA) hosted its biggest ever multi-venue familiarisation trip at the weekend.

The Leeds Big Sleepover, which ran from 8-10 October, welcomed representatives from corporate organisations, venue finders and event planners from all over the country.

The event was a showcase of all Leeds has to offer for business and leisure tourism with a particular focus on the arts and cultural offering in the city and the unusual spaces that are available for conferences and events.

The three-day event began with delegates enjoying a VIP preview tour of the British Art Show 8 and a drinks reception, hosted by Leeds Art Gallery. Welcome speeches were given by the Chairman of LHVA, Gordon Jackson and the leader of Leeds City Council, Cllr Judith Blake.
