C&IT Awards: Best Use of a Small Budget

The C&IT Award for Best Use of a Small Budget went to Robinson College Cambridge for its inaugural Clic+ event, designed to encourage UK event organisers to place functions at the venue.

A limited budget of £4,000 was set for the event, with a programme that included educational talks, workshops, teambuilding, networking and panel sessions, as well as an opportunity to browse the facilities.

It resulted in several new contracts worth £39,000, and an estimated £108,369 worth of press coverage. Judges said it showed "excellent use of a very limited budget by working collaboratively".
