Orlando, Florida topped Cvent’s list, followed by Las Vegas in second place and Chicago in third. Last year's list had the same top three, but Chicago came in first place, Orlando in second and Las Vegas in third. Smaller cities Pittsburgh and Charleston made their debuts on this year’s list.

The list was based on meeting and event booking activity conducted through the Cvent Supplier Network, which sourced more than $8bn (£5.1bn) in meetings and events in 2014.
