Number of registered attendees, which was a 25% increase over WEC 2014.
Of attendees were MPI members and that number was split 50/50 among meeting planners and suppliers.
Participants in the MPI Hosted Buyer Program, a 12.5% increase on last year’s show. This consisted of 264 planners and 186 suppliers.
Education sessions took place.
Tweets were made using the official event hashtag #WEC15 during the week the event was on, a 12% rise on last year.
Total device activations on the MPI Global Event App, which was opened more than 170,000 times and was viewed nearly 442,000 times during the event.
Raised by the MPI Foundation, exceeding the $170,000 (£109,162) raised during last year’s WEC. MPI also raised another $200,000 (£128,426) at the President’s Dinner, which will be used to enhance the platforms and content of education delivered by MPI.
