The Far East has long been a treasure trove of luxurious C&I hotels and, with the opening of the Reverie Saigon, Vietnam has a new property to shout about. Championed by Leading Hotels of the World, the hotel is billed as the opening of the year in Vietnam.

The Reverie Saigon can be found in the lofty heights of the 39-storey Times Square building in Ho Chi Minh City's District 1. A total of 286 guestrooms sit between the 27th and 39th floors of the tower, including 62 luxury suites, all of which have floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city's multi-coloured skyline and the twisting Saigon River.

Five restaurants and nightlife spots will be at the disposal of the hotel's guests, as well as a bar that spans the entire building. Cafe Cardinal is the all-day dining venue, which sweeps across three floors. Cantonese cuisine can be enjoyed at The Royal Pavilion while R&J will serve traditional Italian fare.

Ideal for groups wanting an after-dinner cocktail, The Long @ Times Square's 48m bar is manned by ten bartenders, serving an assortment of drinks to as many as 300 punters at one time.

The hotel comprises a total of 15 multiple-purpose event spaces. La Scala Grand Ballroom is the property's main meeting space and can host groups of up to 588.

A dividing partition can halve the ballroom for smaller groups of 162 and 228. Upon entering the ballroom, delegates will marvel at the 19th-century Bechstein Baldi grand piano sitting in the lobby, which has been meticulously restored at great expense.

Located above the ballroom are a further five conference rooms and four meeting spaces that all share similar views across the city. Groups of between 15 and 100 can gather for meetings, conferences and dinners in a variety of layouts.

Wi-fi: Free throughout
