Walkers from event agencies including Circle Agency, RPM and Gallowglass set off from Chelsea FC and travelled ten miles through Brompton Cemetery, Hyde Park, Regents Park and Regents Canal before arriving at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium. They raised more than £17k to support Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund and Pancreatic Cancer UK.
The Howard’s Way Walk was first created in memory of event professional Howard Kerr who suffered pancreatic cancer. This year’s walk was also in memory of Jim Harding, head of premium sales and hospitality at Arsenal Football Club, who died from the same disease.
Gallowglass Group MD Nick Grecian said: "This was the first Howard’s Way Walk in a city. When event industry people collaborate anything is possible. I’m already looking forward to next year."
