The 444-room Clarion Hotel & Congress Malmö opened with a bang on Monday 8 June, when its owner crashed a jet-ski into the new Malmö-based property.

The Clarion Hotel & Congress Malmö, which is home to 24 conference rooms, can accommodate up to 1,500 delegates in its largest space. Offering a wide selection of food and beverage options, including street food and Mexican cuisine, the property can also arrange menus for conference groups.

The jet-ski stunt, which was designed to add some fun to the launch event, went wrong when celebrity hotel investor and property developer, Petter Stordalen, cruised through the canal straight into a set of concrete steps.
