On Thursday (4 June), London venue Middle Temple hosted a celebratory event to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the signing of Magna Carta and showcase its new Wolf Hall party package. Around 80 guests including event agency representatives, corporate event professionals and local businesses attended the event.
Middle Temple partnered with Viva Live Music to produce the historical theatrics and entertainment. Guests were welcomed to Middle Temple Hall by a court jester, while Tudor renaissance music played in the background. Ampersand Events catered the event providing a selection of contemporary canapés influenced by the flavours and ingredients popular in the Tudor era, including wild boar crown pie, cured trout with watercress puree and Runnymede soft boiled quail eggs with asparagus soldiers. King Henry VIII arrived with new wife Anne Boleyn and guests enjoyed a food tasting from his recent hunt.
