After six years working at the QEII Centre in London and four years freelancing, he has joined the group to head up the event teams.
In his previous roles, Chilvers managed production teams of more than 50 people, led a 5000-delegate medical congress and worked with a wide range of clients across all sectors and levels, including the European Congress of Immunology.
Live Group’s chief executive, Toby Lewis, said the appointment was in line with the company’s plans to expand its B2B event and award ceremony offerings.
As part of his role, Chilvers will be responsible for driving forward this market in the coming months. "He was a great asset on the recent Investors in People Outperformance roadshow and has already shown us huge capacity for building, as well as maintaining, Live Group’s client base," added Lewis.
