IMEX took place at Messe Frankfurt this week from 19-21 May, with 9,000 buyers, exhibitors and press from the industry flocking to Germany from across the globe for the three-day trade show. IMEX 2015 was the biggest to date, featuring 3,500 exhibiting companies from more than 150 countries, including 55 new stands.
SAP CEO Bill McDermott gave a keynote address at the opening ceremony before the sessions and individual meetings kicked off. Day two of the show saw the IMEX Run take place in the morning, and the IMEX Gala Dinner, including its awards ceremony, take place in the evening. Attendees enjoyed a three-course meal before a live band took to the stage.

Also in Frankfurt this week was the Canada Vision Awards at Schloss Höchst on Tuesday night (19 May), where Business Events Canada hosted a number of MICE professionals as it recognised innovation and partnerships in promoting the country. Winners included One Young World and KES International.
Rocco Forte Hotels celebrated the launch of their new C&I offering 'Rocco Forte Events' on Tuesday evening also. Villa Kennedy hosted a sensational 'Kitchen party' with live cooking from the Chefs of 'Gusto', treating agents to a culinary tour around Italy. All attendees were gifted a Gusto apron with their name embroidered on the front, and Sir Rocco Forte and 100 attendees enjoyed the music of live band "Urban Club Band'.
