The four-star property in the Scottish capital is Dhiafatina Hotels' second acquisition in as many months having purchased the 350-bedroom Sheraton Skyline Hotel at Heathrow Airport in March.

The group already operates the 100-room Hamad International Airport Hotel and the 325-room Rotana Oryx Hotel in Doha.

The Novotel Edinburgh Park has 170 bedrooms, a restaurant, meeting rooms and leisure facilities and is located close to Edinburgh Park train station and the newly opened Tram providing access to the airport in 10 minutes.

The airline is looking to build its hospitality business, with future acquisitions anticipated to be in key destinations on the airline’s burgeoning route network.
