The project – billed as the highest dedicated event space in London – is a joint venture between the building’s owners, British Land and Oxford Properties, and events agency Xcite, which has delivered several events in the building.
The venue will boast over 1,524sqm of flexible event space for conferences, product launches, receptions, parties and dinners for up to 300 delegates. It will also feature the latest sound and LED lighting systems and will work with catering partners Create Food and Party Design, and production partners Vibration Group.
Set on the 42nd floor of the building, the venue will offer views of the City and the Thames through triple-aspect, floor-to-ceiling windows.
Dave Stevens, head of office/residential marketing at British Land, said: "British Land and Oxford Properties are delighted to be offering businesses a unique opportunity to stage high-end events at The Leadenhall Building. This project fulfils our plan to deliver alternative and exciting utilisation of the building, which is now 84% let or under offer."
Simon Tracey, MD of Xcite, said: "We aim to be working with corporate buyers and event agencies to deliver an exciting variety of projects that will all benefit from activation in this unique event space."
