Event planners take 'Feast of Fife' tour

Planners from events agency Conference Care will be taking a high-octane tour of Scotland's national motorsport centre.

The Coventry-based agency is heading to Knockhill Racing Circuit as part of a 'Feast of Fife' fam trip, where they will be taken for a spin in some of the centre’s high-powered sports cars.

Organised by VisitScotland’s Business Events team and Fife Council, the three-day tour of the region of Scotland known as 'The Kingdom' will begin with supper and an overnight stay at Garvock House, Dunfermline, on 10 April. The following morning, the group will head to Knockhill for a tour of facilities available for groups before taking to the track.

There will also be a visit to St Andrews for a whisky-tasting session at the newly-opened Kingsbarns Distillery. Within putting distance of the 18th hole of the world-famous Old Course is the Macdonald Rusacks Hotel, where the team will stay overnight, dining at Rocca St Andrews – home of Masterchef: The Professionals winner Jamie Scott.

Site visits will take place at Hotel du Vin, St Andrews’ newest boutique hotel, Rufflets Country House Hotel, Kinkell Byre, a former cattle shed which has been transformed into a gala dinner venue and Fairmont St Andrews.
